Hi, I am Eric Janysek, brother to Norbert & David of Janysek Builders. I am a custom home designer whose business name is “JS Designs.” I have a partner in San Marcos, James Smith (Smitty), and we share workloads. I have been designing custom homes, spec homes, and remodels/additions for 45 years. My dad had me start drawing house plans for him as a teenager, and then I gradually worked towards visiting clients and designing their homes. Knowing the building/construction business and methods, I have an attitude with complex designs that “if there is a will, there is a way.” I count it a joy to meet new people and work towards bringing their dreams to reality. My hobbies are family fun, children’s ministries at Oakwood, golf, and the most intense hobby is harvesting and pickling olives.
